Inseanergy
Solar Hybrid

Inseanergy Solar Hybrid™ harvests renewable solar energy and is designed to complement onshore power or fossil energy sources such as diesel generators.

Since the beginning in 2020, we have developed and tested a floating energy system based on solar cell technology. This system can be fully integrated into aquaculture facilities and easily connected to the existing energy system on the feeding barge. An increasing number of feeding barges are equipped with a battery storage system, which not only reduces diesel consumption but also functions as an energy management system. Our solution can be seamlessly integrated with such energy systems, often referred to as a “hybrid” feeding barge.

We recycle floating cages that are no longer used in fish farming and equip them as floating solar power plants. The power plant can be moored independently, in an available cage within the existing frame mooring, or within the approved area, using parts of the existing mooring equipment. We utilize Ocean Sun’s patented solar cell technology in our energy system. We refer to this system as Inseanergy Solar HybridTM.
